It’s a good night in, don’t get me wrong, but when you stay in you are far more likely to drink more simply because you are more comfortable in your surroundings and there’s no-one around except your partner and the dog that will see you falling of your chair or spilling your drink.  I know i’ve done some pretty stupid things when i’ve been drunk before so i can only assume the rest of the world has too.
